About Anna-Maria
Born and raised in England, with predominantly Greek and Welsh ethnic heritage, I began my professional career in healthcare by graduating as an osteopath from University College of Osteopathy, London in 1993.
I worked in England, New Zealand and Australia for many years, developing an increasing interest in mental health. When I moved to the United States, I realized that I felt called to be a counselor.

During my training at Southern Oregon University, I discovered that Humanistic, Existential, Psychodynamic, and Mindfulness counseling approaches felt authentic for me.

As well as holding a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Oregon, a National Board Certified Counselor, and a member of the American Counseling Association.
I love working with people to assist them in discovering their authentic self and the ever evolving
fulfillment of its expression.

At other times, I value being in the natural world for meditation and outdoor pursuits, I love spending time with family and friends, and I also enjoy writing poetry and playing a little guitar and flute.
